So far, all she’d found were two bumbling mortals, one of whom was an iron carrier. Havethor was going to be furious when he discovered the hole the boy had made in his magic.
If she could find him.
What she needed was a new mirror. Nerissa paced as she scowled at the fire crackling cheerfully in the heath of the blue receiving room. Except it wasn’t blue anymore, thanks to the scarlet curling about the corners, or perhaps that was just her temper impaling her vision.
And then the fire grinned at her.
