What is THE FAIRY GODMOTHER DILEMMA all about?

Simply put, it a fairy tale with a fairy godmother twist. There is no shortage of stories about princes and princesses, swineherds and serving maids. But what about the fairy godmother? Where does she belong in the  tales?

If the stories are to be believed, she is the benevolent helper, the liberator of Damsels in Distress, the one who  can’t seem to make the magic stick much past midnight. But in reality, she is The One With the Wand. She’s the  one who makes the best of what she has–pumpkins and mice anyone?–and spins dreams into reality.

And when was the last time anyone ever really thanked her?

The Damsel in Distress? She might murmur a quiet thanks as she preens at her reflection, her mind already  wrapped up in balls and True Love’s Kiss. The prince? Current research indicates that princes and heroes don’t  actually believe fairy godmothers exist, let alone thank them for their efforts. And as for stepmothers and evil  stepsisters, well, they behave as expected.

So what will you find in THE FAIRY GODMOTHER DILEMMA?

A fairy godmother who just wants to get the job done. A DID–Damsel in Distress–who was a human princess, but is now a cat. A goblin girl responsible for the princess’s fur and whiskers. A mage-in-training who just wants to work magic, but is stuck looking after a prince.

Warning: there might be kittens ahead, but this is not a story with frolicking and fluffiness. The villainess in this story sort of frowns on that sort of thing. Rather, she approves of things like sleeping death potions and swapping places with a certain furry character.
